Uplands Rangers YFC 

Granite are proud sponsors of Uplands Rangers Football Club, and currently sponsor 4 teams. The club was formed in 1984 in the Springfield area of Chelmsford.

Many teams, from U9s to mens teams grew over the years, with Uplands Rangers becoming a well- known name in Youth football in the Chelmsford area. In 1990s the clubs different age groups won trophies and confirmed themselves within the Chelmsford Youth League.

The late 90s brought varying levels of success, one notably being the early career of Premiership Sunderland star Greg Halford. In recent years the club has had just two teams. However, both achieved promotion two years on the bounce with the younger side winning League and Cup doubles at U12 and U13 levels.

We are looking to grow further still, both in numbers of teams and in reputation. The 2011/12 season sees the inclusion of new teams at U7s and U11s girls.
